There is a conflict here on Vernice. Two difference sources claim that he is the son of James Dulmer and Maggie Brown; another claims that he is the son of William Bowden and Flora Blue. Hope to straighten this out. - rhg
We find Vernice E. Hendry listed in the 1920 census with Wm. Bowden and Flora Blue as their "son" - age 13 b. FL. (agrees) Perhaps there was an additional Vernice born to James Dulmer and Maggie Brown at about the same time?
